UTS HISTORY - INSIDE:

1976		Founder, Simon Chong, First stepped in freight forwarding field with responsibility in International marketing and traffic.
1980		Air Dept. Manager of Kenney Transport Inc.,Head Office in New York
1982		Obtained Licenses FMC, NVOCC from U.S. Federal Government
1984		The First Branch Manager in New Jersey Branch Office
1987		Appointed as Manager in Chicago Branch Office.
1989		Established UTS and Participated New HSW Project in Poland
1990		UNITED TRANSPORT SERVICE, INC. Formally Incorporated in Illinois and Obtained U.S. Federal License
1991		Expanded and relocated to 850 Dillon Dr., Wood dale and opened Trucking Division. Also established UTS Express Line, Inc. as a Sister company. Obtained IATA ( Known as CNS) License.
1992		Obtained FMC License. Registered NVOCC and E&O. Obtained FAA License and Licensed for Dangerous Goods Obtained ICC. License and Licensed for Trucking for 48 States.
1993		Expanded Marketing territory to Korea and Fareast Asia from former main market in Poland & Eastern Europe.
1994		Expanded and relocated to 502 Crossen Ave., Elk Grove Village near O’hare Airport. Solely owned CFS Terminal and Began 24 hours Emergency operation service. Registered own Website : www.utsexpress.com And many others.
1995		Opened Regional Office in Seoul, Korea
1997		Awarded “Best Outstanding Agent” from Federal Express (Fedex) Awarded “Best Outstanding Agent” from Korean Airline (KAL) Purchased Spring Acres Camping & Resort in Chicago vicinity.
1999		Purchased and relocated to 40000 s.f. of Land and 20000 s.f. of Cargo Building for operation ( 1171 Landmeier Rd., Elk Grove Village ). Special Packing facility with new equipments
2000		Secure our own internet server ( T-1) and newly upgraded for all department. Registered more unique domain names for future b2b (business to business ) services, and well maintained.
2001. 2		Company reformed and incorporated and upgraded as formal branch offices in Seoul and Busan, Korea. Obtained Air & Ocean Freight Licenses by Korean Gov’t.
2004	Established Bixtar.com as a sister company and participated B2B on-line service providing for our customers shipping and logistics needs
2006. 5	Newly Purchased and relocated to 200,000 s.f.of Land & 120,000 s.f. of Cargo Building for UTS own operation ( 1221 Landmeier Rd., Elk Grove Village ). High-Speed Logistic facility with new equipments

UTS is a professional service company engaged in all aspects of international transportation including:
import and export forwarding & consolidation, packing, pick up and delivery, customs clearance, and
household goods handling.

UTS' strategy has been to develop a comprehensive network of wholly owned U.S. operations and to
provide international transportation services in conjunction with strategic overseas partners.

UTS was formed in 1990 in Chicago, IL. Over the past ten years, company revenue as
well as volume has grown over 35% every year. UTS holds the following licenses: FMC, NVOCC, IATA,
FAA, ICC, USDOT.
